Over the past years I have developed a business impact calculator template based on the learnings from running hundreds of experiments across multiple subscription-based mobile apps. I used this experience to create and finetun the model that has now been published by Reforge Artifact and is free to download 🎉

The template works best as part of your experimentation brief (see here for a free experimentation brief template you can use) where you define the expected business impact of your upcoming experiment (e.g. during onboarding or on the paywall). By providing estimates on how your conversion and retention rates are going to change with your newest experimentation idea, the model calculates the experiment’s impact on revenue. This is fed back into your experiment brief to evaluate whether it makes sense to prioritize this particular experiment.
